U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been largely destroyed following ongoing U.S. and Israeli operations. Speaking to CBS News, Trump said Iranian missile and drone capabilities had been heavily degraded, stating that many of the country’s missile systems and drone factories were being destroyed during the campaign.
Trump also claimed that Iran’s naval forces suffered major losses, alleging that 42 Iranian ships had been sunk within six days, leaving the Iranian navy effectively neutralized. He further asserted that Iran’s air force and major military infrastructure had been eliminated, along with key elements of the country’s leadership structure.
According to Trump, the military campaign has severely weakened Iran’s overall defense capabilities. He described the operation as a major strategic success, saying the United States and its allies were “winning at levels never seen before and quickly.”
The remarks come amid ongoing regional conflict involving Iran, Israel, and U.S. forces, as military operations and political rhetoric continue to intensify across the Middle East.
