🇺🇦 President Zelensky met with the leaders of the E5 format — Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Poland — alongside NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, stressing urgent needs to strengthen Ukraine’s air shield, especially against Iranian-made Shahed drones.
In The Hague, Zelensky signed a pivotal Special Tribunal agreement with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to hold Russia accountable for war crimes.
He also revealed that Denmark will allocate €1.26 billion this year to help Ukraine develop long-range drone capabilities.
In a separate meeting with Nordic leaders from 🇸🇪🇩🇰🇳🇴🇫🇮, Zelensky pushed for enhanced air defense coordination, military aid packages, and joint defense production projects.
The Ukrainian president confirmed that he and President Trump discussed the purchase of American air defense systems, emphasizing Kyiv’s readiness to buy and co-finance with European help.
Zelensky further disclosed that Russia recently returned the bodies of its fallen soldiers, with Kyiv conducting forensic investigations to trace their identities.
