📡 The first verified images have surfaced allegedly showing the destroyed AN/FSC-78 Satellite Communications Terminal at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The terminal, part of the U.S. Air Force’s Modernization Enterprise Terminal (MET) program, was reportedly obliterated in last month’s Iranian ballistic missile strike.

The AN/FSC-78 is a critical ground station for global military satellite communications, especially for high-frequency command, control, and strategic data relays. Damage to such infrastructure signals a severe intelligence and communications disruption to CENTCOM operations.

Al-Udeid hosts over 10,000 U.S. personnel and serves as a major logistics, surveillance, and C4ISR hub. The targeting of such a high-value asset indicates that Iran’s missile precision and target selection have escalated, pushing the conflict into a new phase.

Pentagon sources have not officially confirmed the damage, but imagery suggests a direct hit, raising questions about base vulnerability, missile defense gaps, and future operational continuity.
This event also underscores the expanding reach of Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal, likely involving systems such as the Kheibar Shekan or Dezful, capable of long-range precision strikes across the Gulf.
