The Lebanese Army announced on Tuesday that its engineering units discovered and dismantled an Israeli surveillance device in the southern region of Bostra Farm, Hasbaya. According to an official statement from the Army’s Directorate of Orientation, the device was camouflaged and equipped with a camera for intelligence gathering.
Specialized military units successfully neutralized the device as part of ongoing engineering and security sweeps in southern Lebanon. This incident highlights continued security concerns along the Lebanese-Israeli border and the heightened state of vigilance amid escalating regional tensions.
Investigations are underway to determine how the device was placed and whether additional equipment exists in the area.
