OpenAI just dropped GPT-4.1, plus mini and nano versions, and they’re faster, smarter, and cheaper than anything before.
It handles up to 1 million tokens — basically, it can read a whole book and still remember what you said at the beginning.
It crushes GPT-4o in coding by 21%, leaves GPT-4.5 in the dust by 27%, and costs less to run.
GPT-4.5 gets the boot in July.
