Captured North Korean Soldier Fighting for Russia Dies in Ukraine
A North Korean soldier captured while fighting for Russian forces against Ukraine has succumbed to his injuries, according to South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS).
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the soldier’s critical condition, stating that Ukrainian medical teams attempted to save his life but were unsuccessful. Zelensky criticized the indifference shown by Russian and North Korean authorities toward the soldier’s fate, calling it a reflection of their disregard for human life.
