Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a strong message directed at Iran’s regular armed forces (Artesh), calling on them to break their silence and take action amid ongoing developments in the country.
In his statement, Pahlavi urged the military to uphold its national duty and heritage, referencing historic Iranian commanders and emphasizing the responsibility of the armed forces to defend the nation and its people.
He criticized the presence of what he described as foreign-affiliated forces operating inside Iran, including groups linked to Popular Mobilization Forces, Hezbollah, as well as Afghan and Pakistani fighters.
Pahlavi also condemned the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, accusing it of repression and violence against Iranian citizens.
He called on the Iranian military to “step forward” and fulfill its oath to protect the country, urging soldiers not to remain passive in the face of current conditions.
In addition, Pahlavi addressed the Iranian population, encouraging citizens to demand that the armed forces carry out their national responsibilities and stand with the people.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions inside Iran and across the region, as political and military pressures continue to escalate.
