The IDF announced that troops captured two armed Hezbollah operatives from the elite Radwan Force during operations in southern Lebanon over the weekend.

According to the military, soldiers from the Givati Brigade identified the operatives as they were preparing to launch anti-tank missiles at Israeli forces and territory. Shortly afterward, the two surrendered.
The IDF said weapons and additional military equipment were found with the operatives, and the building they had been operating from was later destroyed.
The suspects were transferred to Israel and interrogated by Unit 504 of the Military Intelligence Directorate, which specializes in human intelligence.
According to the IDF, the interrogation revealed that the operatives had moved to southern Lebanon from the Beqaa Valley at the start of the war with Iran. The military also stated that this incident demonstrates a failure by the Lebanese army to prevent the movement of fighters and weapons south of the Litani River.
