• Executions Ordered: South Korea’s TV Chosun reported that between 20 to 30 officials were sentenced to capital punishment last month. These officials were allegedly responsible for failing to implement proper disaster prevention measures in the flood-stricken regions of Chagang Province, near the Chinese border.
