🇮🇱 Former IDF Intelligence Chief Maj. Gen. (res.) Tamir Heyman revealed key insights about Israel’s strike on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure during Operation “With a Lion’s Might,” calling it a “perfect concert” in terms of coordination with the U.S. and within Israel’s defense establishment.
Heyman confirmed that all known uranium enrichment sites, including Fordow and Natanz, were knocked out of operation, extending Iran’s breakout time for a nuclear bomb. Before the war, Iran was just one week away from enriching uranium from 60% to 90%. Post-strike, that timeline has now stretched to several months.
He added that the Isfahan uranium conversion facility was completely destroyed, causing major delays in the bomb-making process. However, Heyman noted that Iran still holds enriched uranium and could restore some capabilities within months if left unchecked.
He stated Iran’s nuclear ambitions are now in a phase of “post-shock learning,” where the regime needs to reassess, rebuild, and process the operational damage.
Heyman also credited unprecedented operational alignment between Israel and the U.S., saying Trump gave final approval just in time, while the IDF and Air Force executed with precision, professionalism, and seamless integration.
