Iran has announced plans to construct a new uranium enrichment facility at a secure location, following a joint statement by its Foreign Ministry and Atomic Energy Organization. The move comes in direct response to an IAEA resolution declaring Iran in violation of its nuclear commitments for the first time since 2005. Additional measures by the AEOI are also reportedly in development.
