The Israel Defense Forces announced that troops raided a Hezbollah site in southern Lebanon and seized a cache of weapons, including FPV drones, a sniper rifle, RPGs, and additional equipment.
According to the military, the weapons were recovered during operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the area.
The seizure highlights the growing role of FPV (first-person view) drones in the conflict. These drones are low-cost, fast, and highly maneuverable, allowing operators to guide them directly into targets with precision. Hezbollah has increasingly used FPV drones to strike Israeli soldiers at close range.
The IDF said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hezbollah’s capabilities and reduce threats to forces operating in southern Lebanon.
