IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin has announced that 60 Israeli Air Force jets launched a major wave of strikes deep in the heart of Iran just hours ago, specifically targeting ballistic missile launchers aimed at Israel.
“Because of our recent strikes, Iran’s forces have withdrawn to central Iran. Now, they are putting efforts into launching from Isfahan,” Defrin stated.
He emphasized that while Iranian forces have retreated from western Iran, the IAF is pursuing them across the country:
“They withdrew from western Iran, but we are coming after them.”
The operation signals Israel’s shift to deeper offensive pressure, now focusing on Iran’s central missile deployment zones and launch capabilities in Isfahan, a major strategic hub.
