WAR BREAKS OUT: Multiple Indian Jets Shot Down in Pakistani Strikes
Tensions between India and Pakistan have officially erupted into open conflict. According to the latest battlefield map released by Pakistani media, five Indian fighter aircraft—including Rafales, MiG-29, and Su-30MKIs—were reportedly shot down in overnight engagements. A Heron UAV was also destroyed. The strikes targeted key Indian Air Force positions in Srinagar, Awantipur, Jammu, Akhnoor, and Bhatinda.
In a significant revelation, The Hindu newspaper confirmed the crash of an unidentified aircraft in Bhatinda, Punjab, aligning with Pakistani claims of air victories.
The Pakistani military states that it exercised restraint, claiming it could have downed up to 10 jets but stopped at five. Meanwhile, India accuses Pakistan of violating ceasefire agreements and hitting civilian targets. Islamabad International Airport has been shut down, and multiple cities are under alert. Pakistan’s retaliation has reportedly been larger in scale than India’s initial strikes.
The situation remains fluid, with Pakistan’s military vowing a continued response at a time and place of its choosing.
