🇺🇸⚔️ Pentagon Issues Policy to Discharge Transgender Service Members
The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a new memorandum stating that individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria or exhibiting related symptoms will be incompatible with the mental and physical standards necessary for military service.




🔹 Key Details:
• The policy was enacted under Executive Order 14183, titled “Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness.”
• The DoD memorandum explicitly states: “The department only recognizes two sexes: male and female.”
• Individuals with a current or prior diagnosis of gender dysphoria will be subject to separation from military service.
• The new policy supersedes any conflicting guidance in existing DoD issuances and is effective immediately.

• Medical Standards for Military Service (DoDI 6130.03, Volumes 1 & 2)
• Leave and Liberty Policy (DoDI 1327.06)
• Military Service Academies Policy (DoDI 1322.22)
• Senior ROTC Programs (DoDI 1215.08)
• Individual Medical Readiness Program (DoDI 6025.19)
