U.S. Secretary of State Blinken to meet Lebanon’s caretaker PM Mikati in London
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to meet Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati in London on Friday to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, according to an American official.
The U.S. State Department official mentioned that Blinken arrived in London late Thursday after a tour of three Middle Eastern countries, where he called for the protection of Lebanese civilians but did not demand an immediate ceasefire from Israel.
