The United Arab Emirates announced that its air defense systems intercepted multiple Iranian aerial threats on March 10, 2026, including 8 ballistic missiles and 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, 9 ballistic missiles were detected, with 8 successfully intercepted and destroyed, while one missile fell into the sea. Air defense units also tracked 35 drones, intercepting 26 UAVs, while 9 drones landed inside UAE territory.

Since the start of the Iranian attacks, the UAE reported detecting 262 ballistic missiles, of which 241 were intercepted, 19 fell into the sea, and two landed within the country.
In addition, 1,475 Iranian drones have been detected, with 1,385 intercepted and 90 drones falling within UAE territory. Air defense systems also reported detecting and destroying eight cruise missiles.
Authorities confirmed that the attacks have resulted in six deaths involving Emirati, Pakistani, Nepali, and Bangladeshi nationals, while 122 people suffered minor or moderate injuries. The injured include individuals from several nationalities including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, and Palestinian citizens.
The UAE Ministry of Defence stated that the country remains fully prepared to confront any threats, emphasizing its readiness to defend national sovereignty, security, and stability against attempts to undermine the state.
