Japan 🇯🇵 | Russia 🇷🇺

This morning, a Japanese fighter jet was scrambled to escort a Russian patrol plane that allegedly violated Japanese airspace three times. According to preliminary reports, the fighter pilot fired “heat traps” (flares) at the aircraft, highlighting the severity of the incident. F-15J and F-35A Lightning II fighters were deployed to intercept the Russian aircraft, marking the first time in history that Japan Air Self-Defense Force aircraft used heat flares during a border trespassing event.
