The Israeli military has announced that it is preparing for the next steps in the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah, including a potential ground offensive in Lebanon. Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, chief of the IDF’s Northern Command, recently met with commanders from the 98th, 36th, and 91st divisions to approve battle plans that could be enacted in the near future.
In preparation for a possible escalation, the 188th Armored Brigade has been conducting drills near the Lebanon border, while community defense units have carried out exercises simulating various conflict scenarios.
