IDF Issues Urgent Statement to Lebanese Residents
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has issued the following instructions to residents of Lebanon:
1. Restricted Movement: Until further notice, civilians are prohibited from moving southward to the areas surrounding the following villages: Shebaa, Hebbariyeh, Marjayoun, Arnoun, Yohmor, Qantara, Shaqra, Braachit, Yater, and Mansouri.
2. Safety Warning: The IDF emphasizes that it does not intend to target civilians. However, returning to homes south of this line is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
3. Risk Advisory: Entering these areas puts individuals at significant risk of harm.
4. Additional Restricted Areas: Residents are also advised against returning to villages such as Dahira, Tayyiba, Tayr Harfa, Naqoura, Abu Shash, Aytaroun, Ayta al-Shaab, Bent Jbeil, Yarin, Marjayoun, Rashaya al-Fakhar, and many others listed in the notice.
The IDF stresses the importance of adhering to these instructions to ensure safety. Violating these directives may result in severe personal risk. Further updates will follow as the situation develops.
