πΊπΈπ΅οΈββοΈπ¨ FBI Director Kash Patel has confirmed that two Chinese nationals were arrested for spying on U.S. Navy personnel and military installations. According to Patel, the individuals were attempting to recruit American service members on behalf of the Chinese Communist Partyβs Ministry of State Security (MSS).
The alleged operatives were engaged in clandestine intelligence activities, targeting sensitive U.S. naval infrastructure. The arrests came after an intensive FBI surveillance operation that tracked and intercepted their efforts.
Patel declared:
βEspionage on U.S. soil will be met with full force.β
The operation reflects growing tensions between the U.S. and China over espionage, cyber infiltration, and defense secrecy violations. Officials say more arrests and counterintelligence operations could follow.
The accused will face charges under the Espionage Act, marking one of the most serious foreign interference cases involving the Chinese MSS in recent years.
