The Israeli army spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, announced that the Israeli Air Force will soon launch strikes deep into the Bekaa Valley, where Hezbollah’s strategic assets are stored within populated areas. The army has urged residents of Bekaa villages to evacuate their homes and move at least 1000 meters away within the next two hours. Hagari emphasized that the situation on the northern front is extremely challenging, with more than 300 Hezbollah targets already struck in Lebanon to neutralize the group’s military capabilities. He added that Hezbollah’s use of rockets and drones from homes in the Bekaa will not be tolerated, and these assets will be attacked before they can be launched.

Meanwhile, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to the residents of the Bekaa, stating that Hezbollah’s actions are forcing the military to target infrastructure in the area. Adraee urged civilians to leave any homes containing Hezbollah weapons and move to a central school or 1000 meters away from their location, stressing that those who remain near Hezbollah assets are putting their lives and their families’ lives at risk.
