Multiple US Aircraft Incidents Reported in 24 Hours

Five separate U.S. aircraft incidents were reported in 24 hours across CENTCOM, including crashes, emergency signals, and a rescue mission under fire.

Several incidents involving U.S. Air Force aircraft have been reported across the U.S. Central Command area of operations within the past 24 hours, highlighting the intensity of ongoing operations in the region.
1. A F-15E Strike Eagle was hit by Iranian fire and crashed inside Iran. Both crew members survived the incident. One has been rescued, while a large-scale combat search-and-rescue mission is ongoing to locate the second.
2. A HH-60W Jolly Green II involved in the rescue operation came under small-arms fire. At least one crew member was injured, though the aircraft successfully returned to base.
3. A A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot ejected over the Persian Gulf. Iran has claimed responsibility for downing the aircraft. The pilot was recovered safely.
4. A F-16 Fighting Falcon briefly transmitted an emergency squawk (7700) while over Iraq, indicating an in-flight emergency.
5. A KC-135 Stratotanker also transmitted a 7700 emergency signal while operating over Israel.

The series of incidents reflects heightened operational pressure and risk across multiple domains, including air combat, rescue missions, and support operations, as the regional conflict continues to escalate.
