U.S. President Donald J. Trump issued a strong statement claiming that Iran has apologized to its Middle Eastern neighbors and pledged to stop attacking them, following what he described as relentless military pressure from the United States and Israel.
In the statement, Trump said Iran’s move came after heavy military actions against Iranian targets, asserting that Tehran had been attempting to dominate the Middle East. He described the outcome as a historic shift in regional power dynamics, claiming it marked the first time in centuries that Iran had been defeated by surrounding Middle Eastern countries.
Trump further claimed that Iranian leaders expressed gratitude toward the United States and its leadership following the campaign. According to his remarks, Iran is no longer what he called the “Bully of the Middle East,” but instead has become “the loser of the Middle East.”
The U.S. president also warned that additional strikes against Iran could take place, stating that further targets were under serious consideration due to what he described as Iran’s behavior. The remarks signal continued escalation and heightened tensions across the region as the conflict develops.
