Trump: “We Will Finish Iran Very Fast”

Trump says the U.S. is close to finishing the Iran war, warning of major strikes ahead and claiming overwhelming military dominance.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump delivered a series of remarks outlining his position on the ongoing war with Iran, stating that the United States is close to completing its objectives.

He said Iran’s military has been heavily degraded, claiming its navy is “gone” and its air force is “in ruins.” He described Iran as the “most violent and thuggish regime,” while adding that U.S. strategic goals are nearing completion.

Trump warned that if no deal is reached, the United States will escalate strikes over the next two to three weeks, including potential attacks on Iran’s electric generating plants. He said these strikes could be carried out simultaneously and described the potential response as “extremely hard.”

He added that the U.S. has so far avoided targeting Iran’s oil infrastructure, despite it being an easy target, but emphasized that it could be struck at any time. “We have all the cards, they have none,” he said.

On the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said countries dependent on the route should “go and take it,” adding that the passage would eventually reopen. He also stated that the U.S. does not rely on Middle Eastern oil but remains engaged to support allies.

Trump claimed that “regime change” in Iran had effectively occurred, though he said it was not initially the goal. He added that Iran is seeking a deal, while the U.S. remains open but firm in its conditions.

He emphasized that the United States is “unstoppable as a military force” and said the operation is progressing rapidly compared to past wars.
