“Ukraine Receives 18 Danish-Funded 2S22 Bohdana Howitzers”

Today, the Ukrainian Army received 18 2S22 Bohdana 155 mm self-propelled howitzers, funded by Denmark, enhancing its artillery strength amid ongoing conflict.
The Bohdana howitzer is noted for its precision and has a range of 42 km, providing a strategic advantage in battlefield operations. This delivery follows Denmark’s announcement on July 10th to fund the construction of these howitzers in Ukraine. Ukraine is currently producing 16 Bohdana units per month, with each unit costing approximately EUR 3 million. This development underscores the strong support from Western allies for Ukraine and highlights the importance of domestic military production capabilities during conflict.
